The Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare and other organizations have announced the participants for the 2026 WorldSkills Competition, an international skills competition for those aged 22 and under.
For the first time, a nursing university student will participate from Japan in the "Health and Social Care" category.
The Central Vocational Ability Development Association, which operates under the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, has also announced details regarding athlete participation in the next 2028 Games (with selection scheduled for around autumn 2027). We are hereby informing you of this once again.
