FY 2026 Research Seminar: “A Methodology for Mapping Research: Structuring Research Questions and Reorienting Literature Reviews Using the PCC Framework”
summary
Objective.
In the course of conducting research, many graduate students, early-career researchers, and faculty members encounter roadblocks such as “there is no relevant literature” or “I don’t know how to organize the prior research.” We should reframe these issues not as mere deficiencies in search skills, but as problems stemming from the research questions and the way concepts are understood.
